Ernest Em, Moscow-based creative director and photographer who also goes by the name 19TONES, has been attracted to night photography for its fabulous and unusual atmosphere since 2015. Shanghai is one of the most suitable cities to capture photographs at night.
This series, “BY NIGHT”, delves deep into Shanghai’s nightlife. Taken from both heights and low angles, “BY NIGHT” is an adventure to neon landscapes of Shanghai.
